This D-Max heat shrink tubing set offers a reliable solution for insulating, protecting, and color-coding electrical connections. It was developed for users in RC modeling as well as general hobby electronics projects where secure and neat covering of cables, connectors, and solder joints is required. Thanks to its defined shrink ratio, the tubing tightly conforms to the component, providing mechanical stability and protection against moisture and abrasion.

Key Features

• A shrink ratio of 2:1 ensures a snug and precise enclosure of wires and components with an original diameter of up to 6 mm.
• Made from flexible polyolefin (PE), which provides good electrical insulation performance and resistance to common liquids and chemicals.
• A wide operating temperature range from -55 °C to 125 °C guarantees reliable use under various thermal conditions.
• The low shrink temperature, starting at 70 °C, allows for gentle processing with a standard heat gun without damaging sensitive electronics.
• Minimal longitudinal shrinkage of less than 5% ensures that the covering length is largely maintained during the shrinking process.
• The set includes red and black tubing, ideal for clear identification of polarities such as positive and negative in DC applications.

Application

This set is designed for hobbyists and model builders who want to professionally insulate cable connections, bundle cable harnesses, or repair damaged cable jackets. For application, slide the tubing over the desired area and then evenly heat it with a suitable heat source, such as a heat gun, until it has shrunk tightly.
