Product Description

This blue anodized aluminum wheel hub #54240 is a precision tuning part designed to securely attach the rear wheels to your Tamiya RC vehicle. Developed for drivers of the F104 and F103 chassis series, this hub replaces standard parts and offers a significantly more secure and play-free connection thanks to its clamping design. This not only improves power transfer and driving stability but also greatly simplifies maintenance work on the rear axle.

Key Features

  • Secure Clamp Attachment: Unlike conventional hubs that are simply pushed on and secured with a pin, this component firmly clamps the wheel onto the axle. This effectively prevents slipping and ensures a consistent connection.
  • Robust Aluminum Construction: Crafted from durable aluminum, the hub offers higher rigidity than the standard plastic parts. The blue anodization not only protects against corrosion but also adds a striking visual accent.
  • Simplified Maintenance: The design of the hub allows for quicker and more straightforward wheel removal, which is particularly advantageous for differential maintenance or axle changes.
  • Optimized for Carbon Axles: This component is specifically designed for use with optional carbon rear axles (e.g., Tamiya #54162), ensuring a perfect fit even in this combination.
  • Reduced Play: Precise manufacturing and the clamping function minimize play between the axle and the wheel, leading to more direct throttle response and precise handling.
