Product Description

The Tamiya F104 hard compound rubber tires for the front axle are specialized components designed for 1:10 scale RC Formula vehicles. Developed for experienced drivers, these tires allow for precise tuning of handling characteristics on high-grip tracks. By utilizing a harder rubber compound compared to standard equipment, the steering response of the model can be precisely influenced to achieve optimal lap times.

Key Features

  • Harder rubber compound than the kit-standard tires, leading to a more direct steering feel.
  • Specifically designed for use on high-grip surfaces like asphalt to reduce chassis "tipping" or traction rolling in fast corners.
  • Enables fine-tuning of your setup in combination with other tire types.
  • Tamiya recommends using these with soft rear tires (Item 54199) in lower track temperatures to ensure balanced vehicle performance.
  • Tires are supplied without wheels, offering the flexibility to combine them with various compatible wheel types.
